A 4-H leader asked: For the arts and crafts - Photography: Is there any particular size?Is a mat or backing required? Is a frame not allowed?
I should have clarified that in the guidelines, but did not, so this year, I will not require a backing, but I would prefer that the photographs (color or black and white) be 4 x 6 or larger (but no larger than 8 x 10) and be taped to a mat with the information written on the mat or on a label attached to the mat or the back of the photo. Do not write on the back of the photo because it will make an indention. I will accept frames rather than matting but NO GLASS on the frames, please.
