The Starr County Industrial Foundation is a non-profit organization
founded and supported by local government and business leaders.
Purpose:
The purpose of the Starr County Industrial Foundation is to further develop and diversify the local economy through sound, controlled economic growth. Over the years the Corporation has developed a core competency in a varied spectrum of administrative and promotion roles which has placed it in a position to capitalize industrial and economical development in the Starr County region.

* All incentives proposed are preliminary, conditional and are subject to an economic impact analysis being completed and subsequent board approval by the municipality being impacted, as well as a written agreement with the Starr County Industrial Foundation.
The Starr County Industrial Foundation (SCIF) plays a key role in assisting companies expand, while helping to attract new business and industry to Starr County. The SCIF provides the following services:
In addition, the SCIF can arrange custom tours, schedule meetings with community leaders, arrange introductions to necessary contracts, and serve as an advocate with state and local government entities. Our current memberships consist of fifty five county wide business and local leaders.
